PHILLIP MARION DINGUS, HITE FARMER, IS VICTIM OF PNEUMONIA, SUNDAY
Phillip Marion (boy) Dingus, well-known Floyd Farmer; died at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at his home at Hite, a victim of Pneumonia.
A son of Charles Westley and Nancy Flannery Dingus, he was born and reared in the community where he died. his wife Dolly Osborne Dingus died in 1950.
Surviving are his five sons, Lacy, Russel, Wesley and Clyde Dingus, all of Hite and Ray Dingus of Betsy Layne. One brother, Bill Dingus of Hite also survives.
His Funeral was conducted Tuesday morning from his residence, the Rev John Carr officiating, Burial was made in the Family cemetery under direction of the Turner & Ryan Funeral Home.
