HEART DISEASE, FATAL TO MRS. MAYO AT HITE

Mrs Fanny Mayo, 63 years old, widow of Parker Mayo, died at her home at Hite Wednesday afternoon last week following a years illness of heart disease.
A daughter of the late Wesley and Nancy Flanery Dingus, Mrs Mayo was a member of one of the county's oldest families; her husband preceded her in death about 10 years ago. Mrs Mayo had for many years been a devout member of the Regular Baptist Church and was one of the county's best women.
Surviving her are four gaughters and three sons; Mrs Nora Begley, Langley; Mrs Nollie Akers, John and Billy Mayo, all of Hite; Mrs Jennie Arrington, Martin; Mrs Anna Hays of New Mexico and Martin Mayo, Lackey.
She also leaves two brothers ond one sister, W.M. Dingus and P.M. Dingus, both of Hite, and Mrs. Caroline Lawson, Charleston, WV.
Funeral rites were conducted from Methodist Church at Martin, the Rev, C.C. Newsome officiating. Burial was made in the family cemetery at Martin under the directon of the Ryan Funeral Home.
