Diehl was a son of Adam Diehl, and was a stove-mounter by trade. His skull was fractured by the fall and he was injured internally.
Adolph Diehl was employed in the Eagle Foundry and was a well-known young man. He was born in Belleville, April 15, 1889.
Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Diehl, he leaves six brothers and two sisters:

The remains will be interred in Walnut Hill Cemetery at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
