The deceased was born in Belleville, July 30, 1884, and married to Elizabeth Fohl on June 4, 1907.
He leaves his wife, one daughter, Aurelia, and the following brothers and sisters: Henry, Charles and Peter Diehl, Mrs. Lizzie Armbruster of Belleville, and Mrs. Kate Henry of East St. Louis.
Mr. Diehl was a member of the Eagle Foundry Relief Association, the Molders' Union and the Macabees.
The funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the home to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. C. R. Hempel will conduct the services.
