Obituary for Joe Feehan
Bernard Joseph "Joe" Feehan, son of Robert Feehan and Mildred (Scieszinski) Feehan was born October 14, 1943 in Melrose, Iowa and passed from this life Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home in Woodburn, Iowa, with his family by his side, at 72 years of age.

Joe was educated in Monroe County Schools. He was united in marriage to Phyllis Rychnovsky on October 19, 1968, they were married for 47 years. They were the parents of two sons, Ronald and Robert.

Joe worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chariton, Iowa; a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church in Osceola; and a member of the Woodburn Fire Department for many years.

He enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting with friends. He never met a stranger and always had a helping hand for anyone who needed it. Joe enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Mildred Feehan, sister, Geraldine Feehan, brothers, Robert Jr., Donald, and Richard Feehan, and sister-in-law, Joann Blubaugh.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory; wife Phyllis Feehan of Woodburn, IA, son, Ron (Stacey) Feehan of Osceola, IA, son, Rob Feehan of Woodburn, IA, grandsons, Calob Ashby of Murray, IA, and Braedon, Colby and Brody Feehan all of Osceola, IA, sisters, Lucille Feehan of Melrose, IA, and Barb Ruepke of Chariton, IA, brother, Vince (Carol) Feehan of Melrose, IA, sister-in-law, Mary Ann James of Osceola, brothers-in-law, Jack (Marilyn) James of Chariton, IA, Lyle (Paula) Rychnovsky of Rippey, IA, Gene (Mary) Rychnovsky of Osceola, IA, and Gene Blubaugh of Des Moines, IA, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
