Geraldine Feehan Dies In Iowa City

Funeral services were held this morning for Miss Geraldine Feehan, 17, of Melrose, who died Thursday afternoon at University Hospitals in Iowa City where she had been a patient one day.

She was born in Melrose June 24, 1951, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Scieszinski Feehan.

Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Ruepke of Chariton and Sister Mary Robert of the Order of Humility, stationed at Lady of Lourdes in Bettendorf; five brothers, S/Sgt. Donald Feehan with the U.S. Army in Vietnam, Robert of Melrose, Bernard (Joseph) of Woodburn, Vincent of Cedar Rapids and Richard of Newton.

The Rosary was recited Sunday evening at the Humeston Funeral Home. Funeral services were at St. Patrick’s Church in Melrose with the Rev. Eugene Hoenig officiating and burial in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.
