Anna B. Adle, former Cozad resident, passed away February 14, 2016 at Heritage of Bel Air Care Center in Norfolk at the age of 83. Anna was born August 15, 1932 at Ansley, Nebraska to Fred and Laura (Patrick) Norden. She attended school in Cozad. On April 15, 1949, Anna married Ivan Adle. The couple were blessed with 2 children, Carl and Sandra. Anna was a stay at home mother while her children were young. She eventually went to work for F & S Sausage in Cozad as a meat wrapper. She enjoyed painting pictures, fishing and square dancing. She and Ivan rode motorcycles all over the country with a group called "The Retreads". She was a den mother for Cub Scouts, and a member of the Navy Mothers in Lexington. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Max and Walt; 3 sisters, Mary Thompson, Helen White and Katherine Gregory; and a son-in-law. survivors include her husband, Ivan of Norfolk; daughter Sandra Gladkoff of Rhone, TX; son, Carl (Marcia) Adle of St. George, UT; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Toni) Norden of Lexington and sister, Delores Sales of Cozad. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cozad United Methodist Church with Pastor Neil Kloppenborg officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell. Berryman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
