RETIRED NURSE, DIES
Ehrhardt, Bamberg, South Carolina
Mrs. Laura Gibson Lane, 94, widow of Spann D. Lane, died Saturday.
Born in Ehrhardt, she was a daughter of the late Henry E. and Nance George Gibson. She was a retired practical nurse and a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lillie G. Ayer of Ehrhardt; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Rittie Lee Williamson of Cope; stepsons, the Rev. John M. Lane of Orangeburg and Clyde Lane of Sylvania, Ga., and grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Cooner funeral Home, Bamberg, is in charge.
She was living in the Edisto Convalescent Center at the time of her death.
