Ella is my great-great-aunt.
Eunice Ellen "Ella" Curtis Record was born Monday, March 18, 1895 in Aurora, Utah to John Franklin Curtis and Sarah Elizabeth Broadhead.

She married Harold King Record on June 28, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. In 1942, they were divorced. She was the mother of four children and raised them all by herself.

From 1942 until her retirement in 1960, she was employed at Beehive Clothing as a machine operator.

Ella was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, belonging to the Salt Lake Twentieth Ward, Wells Ward, Salt Lake Fourteenth Ward, Salt Lake First Ward, Brickyard Ward, Nibley Park Ward, and Forest Dale Ward.

She loved to do genealogy. She wrote and published a family history book on the descendants of her great-grandparents entitled "The ancestors and descendants of Enos Curtis & Ruth Franklin Utah Pioneers 1783-1964 and related families."

In 1922, she moved to the Salt Lake Valley, where she lived for sixty-six years. From 1922 until 1923, she resided at 517 East First Avenue (50 North) in The Avenues neighborhood of Salt Lake City. From 1924 until 1925, she resided at 521 East Hollywood Avenue (1965 South) in the Liberty Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City. From 1926 until 1927, she resided at 100 West 200 North in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Salt Lake City. From 1927 until 1930, she resided at 822 South Lake Street (750 East) in the East Central neighborhood of Salt Lake City. From 1931 until 1940, she resided at 3116 South 1000 East in Millcreek. From 1941 until 1942, she resided at 2564 South 700 East in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City. From 1943 until her death, she resided at 2152 South 800 East in Sugar House.

Ella passed away on Monday, February 8, 1988 at her residence of causes incident to age.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Febuary 12, 1988 at 12:00 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel located at 3401 South Highland Drive (1450 East) in East Millcreek. A visitation was held one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.
Ella was laid to rest following the conclusion of the funeral services at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in East Millcreek.
