Alfred Throneberry, 91. of 1515 West 25th Avenue, died March 19, 1993, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born September 19, 1901, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late J. W. and Dollie White Throneberry.
He was reared and educated in Star City. He married Jeanette Williams in 1923, and they moved to Pine Bluff in 1943. She preceded him in death in 1989.
He worked for Baims Department Store for 30 years, retiring in 1974 as general warehouse supervisor. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lucas Throneberry of St. Charles, Missouri; two brothers, John Throneberry of Pine Bluff and Wilbur Throneberry of Star City; three sisters, Ruby Clary of Star City, Averil Trentham of Little Rock and Ira Burr of California; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a. m. Tuesday at Bellwood Cemetery with David Bahn officiating. Arrangements are by Ralph Robinson & Son Mortuary.
The family will be at 2710 Sherwood Forest Drive.
