Mrs. Alma Wilson, Star City Resident

Mrs. Alma Wilson, 55, of Star City, died today in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gean McGregory, near Star City. She had been in ill health for some time.

Mrs. Wilson, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Throneberry, was a former resident of Pine Bluff.

Survivors in addition to her daughter and parents include one son, Jackie Brinkley, three brothers, Alfred and John Throneberry of Pine Bluff and Wilbur Throneberry of Star City; four sisters, Mrs. Belle Tranthan of Grady, Mrs. Edgar Burr of Fallbrook, Calif., Elvie Throneberry of Little Rock, and Mrs. Roy Clary of Star City, and three grandsons.

Funeral announced by South Funeral Home.

Wilson Services Conducted Today

Funeral services were conducted today for Mrs. Alma Wilson, 55, of Star City. Mrs. Wilson died yesterday as the result of a lengthy illness.

Burial was in the Pleasant Hill cemetery near Star City following services in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. Donald Atkinson and the Rev. Ray Floyd officiated. South Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Victor Felley, Grover Brockman, Tommie Rodgers, Marvin Ezell, Floyd Meeks, and Ross McGregor.
