Charles Lesovsky, son of Emanuel and Katherine Richecky Lesovsky, was born July 1, 1894, near Cuba, and died October 11, 1990, at Heartland Care Center in Belleville at the age of 96 years, three months and 10 days.
He received his elementary education at Farmington Rural School near Cuba. He was united in marriage to Anna Frances Barnett, October 6, 1914, at Lyndon, and to this union three daughters and one son were born. The couple was married 63 years.
He lived his entire life in the Cuba area except for the time he spent at Heartland Care Center. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, Lions Club of Cuba and Czech Club of Republic County No. 3.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife on October 15, 1977, one infant son, Calvin Charles; one daughter, Mrs. Irene Feil; a great-granddaughter, Cynthia Kakos; six brothers, George, Henry, Frank, Joseph, Edward, and William; two sisters, Bessie and Rosie.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leona Joy of Narka, Mrs. Eugene (Katherine) Hadachek of Cuba; one sister, Mrs. Mary Huncovsky Novak of Belleville; 10 grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held October 13 at the Presbyterian Church in Cuba, conducted by Rev. Tom Ballard and Rev. Beverly Leonard. Interment was in National Bohemian (Kopsa) Cemetery.
