BIT - HEAR OF DEATH - Astoria Argus-Searchlight
Relatives here have received word on the death of Mrs. Annie Heisler of Big Rapids, Michigan. Mrs. Heisler was formerly a resident of Macomb and is survived by the following relatives here: Two sisters, Mrs. Phenie Hay, 907 E. Washington and Mrs. Lizzie Cook, 800 E. Calhound and a niece, Mrs. Mary Frye, 1317 E. Jackson.
The body will be brought to the Dodsworth funeral home tonight and funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

Mrs. Anna Heisler Taken by Death at Home of Son
Mrs. Anna Heisler, 70, died at the home of her son, Lloyd Heisler, 515 South Michigan Ave., Thursday evening after a brief illness. Mrs. Heisler was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Henry Plate. She came with her family to Macomb, Illinois to make her home and in 1887 her marriage to Edward Heisler was solemnized in that city. In 1900 Mr. & Mrs. Heisler moved to Claybank, Michigan where they resided on a farm for two years, then moved to Muskegon to make their home. Mr. Heisler died in Muskegon in 1932.
Since the death of her husband Mrs. Heisler has made her home with her son and daughter-in-law and she came with them to this city in May 1939. Mrs. Heisler was a member of St. Peters Lutheran church and had been active in work of the church until her recent illness.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd, three grandchildren, three brothers, William and Henry Plate of Astoria, Ill., and Edward Plate of St. Louis, Ill., and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Cook of Mcomb, Ill., and Mrs. Phenie Hay, of Macomb, Ill.
Rev. F. W. Wiese will conduct funeral services in the Ryan Funeral Home, Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. The body will be taken to Macomb, Ill. for burial. Friends may call at the Ryan home this evening.
