Abigail Porter Hatch (56) was the oldest of seven children born to Moses Porter (Revolutionary War Major) and Sarah Kilham.

Abigail married Timothy Hatch Jr.b May 7, 1764 Fredericksberg, Putnam Co, NY and died March 27, 1844 LeRoy, New York Timothy was the son of Timothy Hatch and Eurina Beardsley.

The family resided on a farm located a mile out of LeRoy Genesee County, NY. They had previously lived at Pompey, Manlius and Richfield Springs and about 1801 in Saratoga County, NY. Timothy was a farmer, a Captain of Militia and a Senior Warden in 1817 of the St. Mark's Episcopal church for 27 years. Abigail was the first wife of Timothy Hatch.
