END OF EARTH
MRS. PARMELIA HUTCHASON DIES AT EARLY HOUR.
This Morning- Had Lived Long in County-Burial at Charleston Wednesday.

After lingering on this borderland for several weeks past, Mrs. Parmelia Hutchason, one of the saintly old mothers of the vicinity, passed to her eternal reward at 6:30 this morning, dying of diseases incidental to old age at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Randolph, 1316 Charleston ave. The funeral will be held Wednesday, exact hour not known as yet, burial being at Charleston. Mrs. Hutchason was one of the pioneer residents of Coles county, coming to Charleston at an early day. She was a native of Kentucky. Her husband, Louis R. Hutchason, prominent in his day, passed away some twenty-six years ago. Several children, Mrs. Lucy Haselton, Mrs. D.D. James, Mrs. W.F. Randolph, Mrs. Fannie Hutchason, Ed., John and James Hutchason, survive to morn the loss of mother. About five years ago, Mrs. Hutchason came to Mattoon to make her home with her daughters. Prior to that time she had resided at Charleston. She was 73 years old, April 11.

Remains of Mrs. Parmelia Hutchason Buried at Charleston.

The funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Parmelia Hutchason were held this morning andd the burial occurred at Charleston this afternoon. The pall bearers were P.B. Linn, George Swan, C.C. Rogers and H. Joseph. Friends of the family accompanying them to Charleston were: Mrs. Dr. Ferguson, Mrs. Balch, Miss Marstella, Mrs. James Harris, Mrs. Charles Tillotson, Mrs. C.C. Rogers and Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Wilson.

Parmelia Curd and Lewis R. Hutchason were married on April 7, 1842 in Coles County, Illinois.

Spelling of first name varies in different documents.
