Funeral Services to be Held at the Home on Monday Morning-Burial in Charleston.
Mrs. Eliza Randolph, wife of Will F. Randolph, passed away at the family residence, 1216 Charleston avenue, this morning at 7:30 o'clock, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the home on Monday morning at ten o'clock, Rev. Marion Hull, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiating. The body will be taken overland to Charleston, where burial will be in Mound cemetery.
Mrs. Randolph, as Eliza Hutchason, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis R. Hutchason, was born in Charleston on October 16, 1858. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchason came to that city many years ago from Louisville, Ky., and were among its most prominent and influential families. Mrs. Randolph attended the public schools of Charleston and on June 13, 1883 was married to Will F. Randolph. The family then moved to Mattoon, which had been her home ever since. To this union was born one son, Walter J. Randolph, now of St. Louis. Mrs. Randolph is survived by her husband and son, three sisters, Miss Frances Hutchason, Mattoon; Mrs. D. James, Mattoon; Mrs. Lucy Haselton, Frankfort, Ind., and one brother, John B. Hutchason, Charleston.
