RETIRED MILLINER DIES IN CHARLESTON
Special to The Journal-Gazette, Chaleston, ILL.-Miss Frances Hutchason, 81 a former Mattoon milliner, died at 5:40 o'clock today in the Repogle Rest Home for Women in Charleston where she had been receiving treatment. Death was due to a complication of aliments. Miss Hutchason was born Jan. 18, 1864, in Charleston, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Hutchason. She spent her entire life in Charleston and Mattoon with the exception of a few years in Champaine where she was employed at the Lewis store and a few years with a niece, Mrs. Helen Raland, in Elgin. Miss Hutchason was well known as a milliner. While a resident of Mattoon she became a member of the Presbyterian church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are five nieces, Mrs. Raland of Elgin, Misses Nelle and Lois Hutchason and Mrs. A.L. Schnader of Charleston and Mrs. Kate Morris of Los Angeles, Cal. She was the last member of her immediate family.
