Joe L. Berry, age 82, of Louisville died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at University Hospital, Louisville. He was the son of the late Charles "Jack" and Dora Batts Berry, a World War II Army veteran, retired from Fisher Equipment Company after 20 years as an engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes "Jackie" Kindred Berry, Louisville; three daughters: Mrs. Jerry (Melody) Norris and Faye Wright, both of Louisville and JoAnn Siade, Lakeland, Florida; one son: Charles Berry, Lancaster; one sister: Marjorie Wood, Louisville; one brother: Howard E. Berry, Jeffersonville, Indiana; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 29 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Kelly, pastor of Lockport Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in Port Royal cemetery.

Casket bearers were Allen Kindred, Jim Hunt, Chuck Berry, Harvey Bruce, Sherman Berry and Bruce Thompson.
