Laura E. Ballard dies in Maxwell
Laura E. Ballard, 82, a life-long resident of Story County, died in Maxwell Friday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Maxwell Methodist Church and interment in the Cambridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Ballard was born March 5, 1888 near Cambridge and was a resident of the area all her life. She leaves sons, Floyd of Marshalltown; James of Forest City; Harold of Maxwell and Richard of Cambridge. She also leaves daughters, Mrs. Margaret Meyers of Des Moines and Mrs. Mabel Link of Maxwell and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Morrison of Maxwell and Bertha Ballard of Ames.
A daughter, three sons and her husband preceded her in death.
