Lindsey Prows, 63, South Lebanon, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 30, at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.


He was born in Pulaski County, the son of the late Joseph and Susie Prows. He was an employee of Bishop Brick and Insulating Co., Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with Gen. George Patton in the invasion of northern France into Germany; he received six Bronze Stars. He was a member of Syrian Shrine, Carthage Lodge F&AM, and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite mason, Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of Asbury Tabernacle, Cincinnati, Ohio.


Survivors include his wife, Freda Prows; two sons, Johnny and Bobby Lee Prows, South Lebanon, Ohio; a brother, Lucian Prows, Somerset; eight sisters, Bonnie Diamond, Goshen, Indiana, Dorothy Martin, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Christine Wilburn, Katheryn Jones, Louetta Head, Lorene Head, Daisy Hargis, and Merdell Burnett, all of Somerset; and two grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Clarence and Robert Prows.


Masonic services will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Woodstock Baptist Church.


Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Woodstock Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Griffin officiating.


Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.


Friends may call from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the church.


Morris and Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
