DIED AT THE ASYLUM.


Miss E.E. Webb of Minden, a patient at the Louisiana Hospital in Pineville, died at that institution at 3 o'clock this morning. The remains were removed to the Kramer Undertaking establishment in this city and after being prepared for burial, were shipped to relatives at Minden, over the L.& A. road this afternoon.

Minden, Nov. 17.--The sad news has just reached here of the death at an early hour today of Miss Eva Webb of this place, at Alexandria, where she ahs been for some time undergoing medical treatment. She is the daughter of the late lamented Capt. J.J. Webb, Sr., and wife, and the remaining member of her family, who are of our best citizenship, have the heartiest sympathy of our entire town and community.

Deep sympathy of friends is extended to the family of Miss Eva Webb whose death occurred Wednesday morning at the Sanitarium in Alexandria. This sad announcement was heard with much regret. Her many friends had hoped that her impaired health might be restored. "God giveth his beloved. Sleep is the comforting balm to the crushed hearts of those who bow in submission to his Divine will. The remains accompanied by the family arrived on Thursday at noon and were taken to the city cemetery where the sacred services were held. Rev. E.K. Means officiating. Beneath a mound of fragrant blossoms rests the sweet pure spirit of one who was much beloved in the community where her life was spent.
