CDR USN (Ret.) age 78, Bloomington, MN, passed away April 18, 2015. Son of Daniel Stubbs, CAPT USN USNA 1925, and Margaret Davis Stubbs. Dave entered the US Naval Academy from Nebraska, graduating with the Class of 1958, 5th Co. Dave flew Navy ASW, A3 and F4 aircraft. In Navy procurement, he worked on Phoenix and HARM missiles, and was Technical Director of the Harpoon missile. At Hughes Aircraft, he was the Chief Engineer for the AMRAAM and Program Manager for the Norwegian Winter Hawk missile systems.
