7th child of Adam Hauser (1768-1851) and Sivilla Yantz (1773-1846) (NOTE: There is no conclusive evidence to confirm that Adam Hauser's given name was William or his father as William Erick House (1741-1816) and mother as Ann Noah House (1742-1820). In reviewing William Adam Hauser (Houser) trees posted by others, it appears that the initial contributor may have conflated this father-son duo with a similarly name William Erick House and did not review source documents to verify accuracy of information.)

Married William Waltz on June 9, 1825 at the "Methodist Preaching House" in Yough Glades, Allegany County, Maryland, Rev. Adam Sigler, officiating. Of this union, 12 children: (1) George Adam Hauser (2) Margaret Sivilla, (3) Edelia Louisa Catherine, (4) Sarah Sophia Elizabeth, (5) Christina Ellen, (6) John Levi, (7) Benjamin Davies, (8) Mary Jane, (9) Benjamin Henry, (10) David Elias, (11) William Yantz, and (12) Eva Marion.

NOTE: According to the family Bible that belonged to William Waltz and Mary Hauser Waltz, their seventh born child Benjamin Davies died at age three months. They named their ninth born child Benjamin Henry; thus two of their sons were named Benjamin. (Ronn Friend, 3rd great-grandson of William Waltz and Mary Hauser Waltz)
