She was born November 17, 1889 at Big Ridge to the late Jim and Molly Hicks. She married R. T. Sexton, who survives. Other survivors include R. T. Sexton Jr., Canalou and Bill Sexton, Schererville, Indiana, and three grandchildren. Burial followed in the Matthews Cemetery. Donald Sexton, Frank Harr, Earl Harr, Cletus Harr, C. C. Blankenship and Harry Perry were pallbearers.
