Parma-Mrs. Myrtle Hicks Henry, 82 years old, formerly of Parma, died at 3 a.m. today in Shuffit nursing home no.3 at Sikeston following an extended illness.
The former Miss Hicks was born Sept. 7th, 1890 in Tennessee, her husband, Demarcus Henry, and infant son Wiley D. Henry preceded her in death. She was a member of the general baptist church here.
Surviving: a son, Charley F. Henry, east prairie; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Allen, Parma, and Mrs. Leora Sexton, Hammond, Ind.; a brother C.D. Hicks, Michigan; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at Shelby funeral home at east prairie, where arrangements are incomplete.
