Theodore Andrew Guenther was born in Leaf Valley township on June 30, 1907, the son of Frank and Cecilia will Guenther. He lived in Leaf Valley until oct. 10, 1928 when he was united in marriage to Esther Zarbok. They moved to the Alexandria area and for the past 16 years have resided on a farm near Lake Jesse.
Mr. Guenther was a member of Zion Lutheran church and had served as school clerk on various school boards.
Theodore Guenther died Sept. 3, at the age of 57 years, 2 months and 3 days. Surviving are his wife Esther; 5 sons: Elroy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Clinton of Greensboro, N.C.; Kenneth of West St. Paul; Marvin of Great Falls, Mont.; David at home, one daughter (Mary Ann) Mrs. Anthony Rassat of Nelson.
Also surviving are 3 brothers: Frank of Havre, Mont.; Harvey and Leo of Leaf Valley; 3 sisters: Mrs. Herman Patzwald of Alexandria; Mrs. Ben Barnack of Alexandria; Mrs. Olaf Ziegelman of Alexandria and 14 grandchildren.
