On August 29, 1928 Ed was united in marriage to Agnes Zaviska at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Glenwood, Minn. Ed had various occupations during his long life. During the depression, he worked as an iceman loading ice off of Maple Lake near Forada and putting the blocks onto railroad cars. He did farming for many years and also sold seed corn for a time. In his earlier years he served on the Dist. 3 school board.
One of Ed's great loves besides the Lord and his family, was music. He played trumpet in a family dance band for many years. He was a kind and devoted husband, father and grandpa who will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
