Christine Patrick was born to Wenzil and Mary (Benesh) Bruzek in Lake Mary Township of Douglas County, Minnesota on July 15, 1902. She attended rural school at District 19 and was married in July of 1942 to Frank Patrick. Christine was blessed with an outgoing personality and loved to be with and entertain people. she was always willing to help others whenever possible. Christine enjoyed cooking, baking and tending her flowers. While Frank was employed at St. Mary's, Christine assisted in many ways, including floral arrangements for the altars.
Christine died April 1, 1995 at the Community Memorial Home in Osakis at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank in 1971; four brothers: Frank, Wencel (Jim), Joe and John Bruzek; two sisters: Anna and Mae Jane. Surviving her are a brother Edward Bruzik of Osakis.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Alexandria with Rev. Al Ludwig officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Church Cemetery with Philip Mullen, Marvin Bruzik, Emil Bruzek, Percy Black, Clarence Reichmann, Bud Bruzek, Dean Collins and Robert Cihlar serving as pallbearers. Arrangements were with Anderson Funeral Home.
