Hattie Stone Harrington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Stone was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, April 27, 1865 and died at the home of her sister, Mrs. F. R. Bachelor, September 12, 1926 at the time of her death, 65 years, 4 months and 15 days.

At an early age she moved with her parents to Ida, Kansas where she grew to womanhood, here she was subjected to the life of the pioneer both the joys and the hardships. She taught school for a time and many of the citizens of this county at one time were her pupils. A few years ago she moved to California, living there for a time and then moved to Denver, Colorado. While living in Denver she was married to Mr. Milton Harrington. Mr. and Mrs. Harrington moved to Billings, Montana and lived there for several years then moving to Casper, Wyoming.

Mrs. Harrington was of a sunny disposition and always was doing something for others. She was a very devoted wife. About a year ago her health began to fail and she has been going down very rapidly ever since. About three weeks ago she came with her husband to Belleville to visit her sister, hoping that the change of altitude and climate would be beneficial to her. For a few days she seemed to improve but about ten days ago she was obliged to go to bed and quietly went to sleep Sunday night at 11:15.
