Mrs. Ida La Bounty
Mrs. Ida La Bounty, wife of Elmer I. La Bounty, died Thursday afternoon at the family residence, 1703 East Main Street, aged 33 years. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. Mrs. La Bounty was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Birt and she is survived by a husband and five children. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence.

The funeral of Mrs. E. I. LaBounty will occur Saturday afternoon, the services being held at East Park Chapel at 4 o'clock. Rev. H. S. Bowyer, pastor of the First Baptist Church will officiate. The interment will be at Brush College Cemetery. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Birt and was born in Otis, LaPort County, Indiana, on May 21, 1868. When a child the family removed to Illinois settling at Chatsworth. There she married Elmer I. LaBounty and eight years ago they came to Decatur, where they have since made their home. The deceased had been in poor health for two years but it was not until Sunday last that she was compelled to take her bed. In addition to her parents and husband she is survived by five children, Charles, aged 11; H. M. aged 10; Marie, aged 7; James aged 5; and Elmer, aged 21 months. She also leaves two brothers, James A. and Arthur Birt.

Mrs. LaBounty's Funeral Held Yesterday Afternoon at East Park Chapel
The funeral of Ada Lenore, wife of E. I. La Bounty, was held at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at East Park chapel. The services were conducted by Rev. S. H. Bowyer. The burial was at the Spangler cemetery. Mrs. La Bounty died Thursday at the family residence, 1703 East Main Street. She had been an invalid for two years, but her death was rather sudden, as she was not bedfast until Sunday. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Birt, who with the husband and five children survive her. She was born at LaPorte, Ind., May 21, 1868, and was married Nov. 3, 1886. They came here eight years ago. She always thought a great deal of her family and home and was a most affectionate wife and mother.
