Basil H. Ashcraft, Cabinet Shop Owner
Basil Howard Ashcraft, aged 58, of 4306 West Twenty-seventh Street, owner and operator of the Ashcraft Cabinet Shop, died Thursday at a Little Rock hospital.
He was a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Anna Norman Ashcraft; a daughter, Miss Virginia Ashcraft of Little Rock; two brothers, E. A. Ashcraft of Malvern and Homer H. Ashcraft of Sheridan, and four sisters, Mrs. Cora Gilkerson and Mrs. Alice Pumphrey, both of Sheridan, Mrs. Lucy Stuckey of Malvern and Mrs. Zelma Byrd of Poyen (Grant County).
Funeral Arrangements will be announced by Griffin-Leggett.

Funeral for Basil Howard Ashcraft, aged 58, of 4306 West Twenty-seventh Street, who died Thursday, will be at 11 AM Saturday at Griffin-Leggett By Rev. L. D. Foreman.
Pallbearers will be Edwin L. Johnston, B. D. Moore, Maurice Pumphrey, William H. Ashcraft, Havis Cooper and Denver Prince.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
A second funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Philadelphia Church near Sheridan by Rev. C. N. Glover. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery.
