John H. Babler was born 16 Mar 1922 in Monroe, Green Co., WI to John Babler and Oline Westgard. The family moved to Winona Co., MN when he was young. He worked for several farms in the Hart area and for Northwest Co-op, and he retired in 1984 from Behrens Mancufacturing.
John was a member of the Foe No 1243. He died 1 May 2002 in Lake Winona Manor and is buried in Bush Cemetery, Ridgeway with several other members of his family. John never married.
He was survived by a brother, Robert (Beverly) Babler of Winona; sisters. Mary Ann (Wilford) Wilson of Twin Bluffs, MN, Ada (Clarence) Wilson of Clinton, IA, and Anna (Helmer) Thompson of Caledonia, MN; several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers: Ralph, Albert, William, Richard and Matthew Babler, Charles and Henry Hanson.
