Ralph Dietrich Babler was born 2 Dec 1916 in Monroe, Green Co., WI to John Dietrich Babler and Oline Westgard. He was a long time railroad worker. He moved with his parents to Minnesota and they lived in Winona Co. Ralphs father, John was a long time railroad worker as well and was killed in an accident on the job near Lamoille, MN.
Ralph married Grace Elizabeth Kragness on 8 Aug 1944 in Houston, MN. Ralph died 24 Dec. 1993 in Red Wing, MN, just 20 days after his 77th birthday. He was buried in Bush Cemetery in Ridgeway, Winona Co., MN by his parents and late wife, Grace.
Grace preceded Ralph in death on 5 Sep 1977 and she is buried in Bush Cemetery as well.
Surviving Ralph were his children, Paul William Babler of Red Wing, Gary Ralph (Charlotte) Babler of Red Wing, Kathleen Rose (Robert) Hall of Bellechester, MN, and Dorothy Ann (Leonard) Jamison of MN; and nine grandchildren.
