Justus LeOtto Stephens, 81, died Wednesday at LaPorte Hospital.
He was born at Plymouth Feb. 25, 1893, son of George and Catherine (Cauffman) Stephens and on Oct. 18, 1914 he married Marie C. Brettin, who preceded him in death Feb. 24 (1974).
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Alice Cromey, Mrs. Flaude Meister and Mrs. Ruth Kimball all of LaPorte; and Mrs. Charlotte Sly of Union Mills; a son, Charles of Kalamazoo, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Wanatah, where services will be held at 2 pm Saturday with the Rev. William Berisch officiating. Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Weaver Funeral Home after noon Friday.
