Mrs. Anna Eggert, 73, died at her home at Thornton this morning following a lingering illness. Funeral services are tentatively set for 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St Paul's Lutheran Church at Stony Hill.

Rev. M.M. Clausen will officiate at the service with interment in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Karth funeral Home after 2 p.m. Friday and at the church from noon until time of rites on Saturday.

The former Anna Mailahn was born on Jan. 28, 1890 and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mailahn. She was a life-long resident of the Town of Richmond. On May 10, 1914 she was united in marriage to Ewald Eggert, a former carpenter contractor, who preceded her in death in 1952. Mrs. Eggert was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Stony Hill and a member of the Ladies Aid. She also was a gardening enthusiast.

Survivors include five children. They are Erna, Mrs. Charles Fletcher, DesPlaines, Ill.; Leona, Mrs. William Burns, Clearwater, Fla.; Eleanor, Mrs. Joe Fischer, Milwaukee, and Vendor and Marvin of the Town of Richmond. There are nine grandchildren. Two sisters and a brother also survive. They include Rudolph Mailahn, Mrs. Alvina Springborn, and Mrs. Minnie Eggert, all of Richmond.
