Mrs. Ella Allison
Hookstown -- Mrs. Ella Allison, 75, wife of J. L. Allison, died today at 5:30 a.m. in her home about a mile east of here following a long illness. Mrs. Allison was a member of the Hookstown Free Methodist church. She leaves six daughters, Mrs. Pearl Abrams and Mrs. Hazel Campbell of Chester, Mrs. Ellen Bartley, Mrs. Jennie Machall and Miss Maud Allison of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Esther Schaffer of New Brighton; three sons, Hugh Allison of Canal Fulton, Thompson Allison of Chester and Clayton Allison of Fair Oakes, Pa., and two brothers, Benjamin Laughlin of George- town and William Laughlin of Hookstown. The body was removed to the Stewart funeral home here and returned to her home this afternoon. Services will be held in the home Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. W. L. Grafton of Huntington W. Va., formerly of the Hookstown Free Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in the Mill Creek cemetery. Friends may call at the home.
Ella's parents were Benjamin Laughlin and Margaret Thompson-Laughlin.
Ella has a twin brother, William G. Laughlin who married Ella's sister-in-law, Margaret May Allison.
