A native of Pocahontas County, Iowa, he had lived in this area for 68 years. Mr. Albers was a machinist supervisor with Texaco having retired 18 years ago. He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, V.F.W. Post 797 and was a veteran of World War I.
Funeral services for 3 p.m. Sunday in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The Rev. Larry A. Miller, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Tim Mitchell, Grey Morgan, Randy Albers, Jeff Albers, Mike Huebel and Mark Hull.
Honorary pallbearers are Milton Huebbel Jr., Gray Huebel, Gerald Huebel, Allen Albers, Terry Albers, Thad Hill and Edward Morgan.
