Texhoma--Jacob "Jake" Albers, 87, died Monday.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Texhoma Church of God. The Rev. Charles McKinney, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Texhoma Cemetery by Dawson-Welch Funeral Home.

Mr. Albers was born in Iowa and had been a Texhoma resident since 1945. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion. He married Gladys Kipper in 1923.

Survivors include the widow; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Beaumont of Groves, three brothers, Pete and Carl, both of Port Arthur and Dick of Nederland.
