Dorothea N. Koch, 83, formerly of 740 W. Joan Court, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 1991, at Lindenwood Health Care Center, where she was a resident.

Born June 4, 1908, in Peoria to Theodore and Lottie Scherer Alberssen, she married Paul F. Koch on Feb. 12, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa. He died Sept. 28, 1964, in Portland, Ore. She also was preceded in death by one son, Richard D., two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra K. Koch of Peoria; two brothers, Theodore Alberssen of East Peoria and Roland Alberssen of Peoria Heights; and three sisters, Gertrude Pegg, Mildred Ohl and Theresa Baxter, all of Peoria.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
