Born March 31, 1904, in Peoria to Theodore and Lottie Scherer Alberssen, she married Hasseler Pegg on June 17, 1922, in Peoria. He died Dec. 15, 1972, in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are one sister, Mildred Ohl of Peoria; and two brothers, Rolland Alberssen of Peoria Heights and Ted Alberssen of East Peoria.
She was a line assembler at Caterpillar Inc. for 23 years, retiring in 1966. She was a member of the Caterpillar Retirees Club and the Greater Peoria Roast Society.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Peoria.
Entombment will be in Springdale Mausoleum in Peoria.
