Beloved Uncle
Gene Pierce of Campbellsville, formerly of Owensboro, son of the late Alvin Rosco Pierce and Mattie Ermine Brewer Pierce, was born July 6, 1924, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 5:13 A.M., Monday, August 3, 2015 in Greensburg. Age: 91 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro. He was a retired employee of Phillips Electronics North America. He is survived by one step-son, Herbie Cook of Owensboro; and one step daughter Janet Randolph of Greenville, three sisters : Louise Manasco and husband, Jesse, Geneva Hunt and husband, Ed and Juanita Perkins of Campbellsville and one half brother Kenny Pierce and wife, Shirley of Allendale; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two sons in infancy William Alvery and Terrel Pierce, a daughter, Jeanne Sue "Susie" Pierce July 12, 2015 and two brothers, Paul Pierce and Ed Pierce and one sister and two brothers in infancy. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church Cemetery in Buffalo by Bro. Virgie Mae Jonas was born in 1928. She married Dewel Eugene Pierce on November 25, 1967, in Robertson, Tennessee.

Gene Pierce, 91, of Campbellsville died at Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, in Greensburg. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro and retired from Phillips Electronics North America.
Survivors include a stepson, Herbie Cook; and four siblings, Louise Manasco, Geneva Hunt, Juanita Perkins and one half brother Kenny Pierce. Graveside service: 11 a.m. EDT Thursday at Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo, LaRue County. Expressions of sympathy: Otter Creek Separate Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
