Iona R. McClelland Brovan, 77, 809 West A, died Oct. 1, 1991, at Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson.

She was born May 9, 1914, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Silas N. and Winnie [sic] Nance McMillan. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and was employed at Strawboard Manufacturing, Hutchinson.

She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church, Hutchinson.

On June 2, 1930, she married Fredrick R. McClelland at Hutchinson. He died Jan 4, 1976. On Nov. 5, 1979, she married Herbert Brovan at Hutchinson. he died Jan. 8, 1985.

Survivors include: a son, Jim McClelland, 907 Garfield; two brothers, Si McMillan, Route 1 and Kenneth McMillan, Longview, Wash.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchidren.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairlawn Cemetery, Hutchinson, with the Rev. Harlan White presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.

Memorials may be sent to the Hospice of Reno County or to Parents of Troubled children in care of the mortuary.
