Funeral services were held at the Newkirk Reformed church Monday for Arthur De Graaf, 46, prominent Newkirk farmer, who died at his home Thursday evening of a heart attack.

Services were conducted by the Rev. M. Smith. Interment was in the Newkirk cemetery.

Mr. De Graaf, the son of Andrew and Flora De Graaf, was born on a farm near Newkirk August 8, 1915.

He resided on the home farm until his passing.

He was married June 19, 1941, to Bessie Vander Veen of Springfield, S. D.

Survivors besides his wife include three children, Aileen Frances, 16, Barbara Ann, 15, and Allan Frank, 10; his parents, of Alton; a brother, Marion, of Anaconda, Mont.; two sisters, Jeannette (Mrs. Wm. Van Rooyen) of Alton, and Ethel (Mrs. Clifford Bogaard) of Orange City.
