Frank died Tuesday night after an illness since Thanksgiving day from inflammatory rheumatism. Instead of improving, complications set in, resulting in his death. He had been very ill during the past week, receiving every care that medical science could bring, but to not avail.
His wife and two-year-old son survive, besides his loving parents, brothers and sisters.
Frank was only 26 years of age. His wife is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Van'tHof. They live on the Van'tHof farm south of Newkirk.
Several days ago Frank wan taken to the home of his parents where there was more help for caring for him.
He was a splendid young man of fine character and ideals.
Everyone who knew Frank was his friend and his passing is felt keenly by all who knew him.
His mother is a cousin of the Index editor, and much sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
