She was formerly of Barnwell county, but had lived in this vicinity for the past 25 years. She was a member of the Baptist church. Mrs. Scott is survived by two daughters, Mrs. G. A. Friday of Columbia and Mrs. J. W. McDonald of Coyce; three sons, J. W. Scott of Columbia, M. D. Scott of West Columbia and J. G. Rowell, a son by a former marriage, of Cayce; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 this morning from the Thompson funeral home, the Rev. J. H. Eaddy, pastor of Green Street Methodist church, officiating. Interment will following Elmwood cemetery.
