Mary would have been six years old when her mother died.
Mary and Charles Baughman were married March 2, 1893 in St. Mary's Church, Purcell, KS. The witness for Mary and Charles' wedding was Catherine Normile.
In 1900, Mary was living and running a hotel in Purcell, Kansas with husband Charles. This hotel was on the east side of Purcell.
In 1920, Mary was living in Horton, KS; occupation, Keeper - Boarding House. 48 years old, Divorced, with her daughter Maude living with her. This showed she owned the boarding house, had 14 boarders. The boarders all worked for the railroad.
Mary was only 53 years old when she died Jan. 31, 1925.
