Mrs. Pocahontas Cunningham, 98, died Friday, February 28, 1975 at 6:50 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Cadiz following a long illness.

A native of Trigg County, Mrs. Cunningham was born October 10, 1876, daughter of the late Alfred Perry and Sarah Catherine "Kitty" Cunningham. She was married to George Dabney Cunningham December 20, 1908, who preceded her in death in 1950. She was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted at Goodwin Funeral Home, Sunday, March 2nd, at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Bill Belva and Rev. Wade Cunningham officiating. Burial was in East End Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Luther (Mary Grace) Thomas, two grandsons, Dan Thomas of Cadiz and George Thomas of Louisville; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Herman Boyd, William D. Boyd, James Washer, Mitchell Cunningham, Claude Adams and Billy Burke.
