MORTON - Norma Lee Gardner, 83, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Morton with the Rev. Gary Boles, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in Lubbock by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.
Mrs. Gardner was born in Childress and moved to the Morton community in 1937. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Morton.
She married Horace Gardner in 1951 at Childress. He died in 1987.
Survivors include a son, Gene Gardner of Levelland; three sisters, Flora Phillips of Canyon, Dot Bennett and LaJuana Thaten, both of Childress; four brothers, Robert, Rayford, Joe and Pete Jones, all of Childress; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
