Hilda E. Stock, age 80, of 7510 Center Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, June 11, 1994, at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Meyer with burial to follow at the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born June 7, 1914, in the town of Meeme, daughter of the late Charles and Alvina Brant Henschel. She married Erwald E. Stock on June 27, 1936, in Newton. He preceded her in death February 24, 1982. Mrs. Stock was involved for many years with the family business, Metal Products Company at Newton and loved collecting antiques, baking cookies and Oneida Bingo.
Survivors include a son, Gerald O. Stock, rural Newton; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Evelyn Ebeling, Howards Grove, Myrtle Kramer, Kiel, Irene and Hugo Grohskops, Kiel; 11 grandchildren, Shelley (Don) Decker, Manitowoc, Wendy (Peter) Hansen, Illinois, Tracy (Bob) Slavik, Appleton, Gary Stock, Manitowoc, Jay (Tammy) Stock, Manitowoc, Heather (Joel) Zipperer, Whitelaw, Rebecca Stock, Manitowoc, Terry Doersch, Cleveland, Tammy (Mike) Kestell, Sheboygan, Tanya Doersch, Sheboygan, Troy Doersch, Cleveland, seven great-grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by a son, Eugene in 1972, a daughter, Janice in 1986, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Friday, and Saturday at St. John’s United Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
