Funeral services were held at the Mt. Carmel Church last Wednesday afternoon for Willard Allen, 24 years old, who died at the home of Frank Skaggs in the Colsby section last Tuesday. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Allen; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Allen; 4 brothers: Ray Allen, Indiana; Charlie Allen, Indiana; Edward Allen, Otis Allen, Indiana; 2 sisters: Mrs. Albert Allen, of Louisville; Mrs. Roy Underwood, Hibernia. Pallbearers were R.B. Skaggs, Milton Wright, Turner Campbell, Iva Miller, Edward Allen and Thurman Carlile.
